Welcome to Grande Prairie Public Library's STEAM Space! STEAM is the acronym for science-technology-engineering-art-math. STEAM programs encourage creativity and curiosity, helping to build a love of learning!

Why have STEAM programs at a library? Libraries aren't just buildings full of books (though we do have a lot of books). They are places of exploration, of whimsy, of dreams.

Registration for preschool STEAM and Adventures in STEAM can be done through Grande Prairie Public Library's website. https://events.gppl.ca/events/month

Summer Reading Games (SRG): Cosmic Circus

For the summer, we blasted off into space with "Shooting Stars STEM" and "Galactic Explorers: Adventures in STEAM."

Preschool STEAM and Adventures in STEAM will return

Preschool STEAM (age 4-6) will be held Monday afternoons from 1:30-2:00 pm and Tuesday mornings from 10:30-11:00 am starting September 16th.

Adventures in STEAM (age 7-12) will be held on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month from 4:00-4:30 pm starting September 25th.
