Borrowing Basics

You can click on the "TRACpac Login" link in the header of our website. You can manage your holds, see your due dates, and request items. You can also access your account through the TRACpac App (available in your app store).

Most items are due back 21 days after you borrowed them. Exceptions include our Vinyl Record Collection, Magazines, and our Library of Things collection.

To find a full list, please see our loan periods below. 

Please note: if you bring in items from other libraries in TRAC, they may have different loan periods than we do. Watch your due dates! 

Most items will automatically renew twice. We can’t renew items that have requests on them, so those will need to be returned by the most recent due date.

You can check the status of your items under My Account on our online catalogue (TRACpac). You can also download the “TRACpac” app from your app store. 

Sure! You can request items from our online catalogue yourself. Simply search for the title, click the ‘Place a Request’ button, and complete the request.

Items not available through the TRAC catalogue? Try borrowing from other libraries.

Great news! Late fees were removed at the beginning of 2021. Replacement fees will still be charged for items that are unreturned, lost, or damaged.

TRAC is an acronym for The Regional Automation Consortium. It’s a partnership between libraries within Marigold Library System, Northern Lights Library System, Peace Library System, Yellowhead Regional Library. It means we have access to any title owned by any library in this area:
