Volunteers are needed in a wide variety of activities such as collection-organization, homebound-delivery, shelf-reading and special projects. Download an application form and return to the Library in person or by email.
Applications are kept on file for six months - only those applicants being considered for a position as they become available will be contacted.
We are looking for teen volunteers to be part of our new Library Initiative for Teens (LIT) for the 2021-2022 school year. LIT volunteer opportunities are for teens in grades 7 to 12, and will be on Tuesdays from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Interested? Fill out our LIT Signup Form. Note: Registration is currently closed for the Fall Term but will re-open in November for the Winter Term. We will reach out to volunteers who sign up in the interim period then.
The Friends of GPPL is a group of volunteer community members who are passionate about the Library and what we're doing. They primarily help the library through fundraising, advocacy, and volunteering. Find out more about volunteering with the Friends group.
